Labyrinth Walk Coffee House

Tomorrow night at the coffeehouse:

Ken Gaines

For all of the great songs that have been written, singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer Ken Gaines belongs to a wonderful group of people who believe there are at least as many great ones still to be written.

Texas Music Awards 2005 – Singer Songwriter of the Year
2007 – Nominated for Song of the Year

Ken has the goal of writing great songs in just about every genre and style. You won’t be able to put a finger on what he does from sweet lyrical ballads, to double entendre blues, to swingin’ jazz, and redneck rock. His voice has the range to cover all of these styles and his supple guitar work lays down arrangements instead of just chords. His lyrics are both powerful and poetic and highlight his skills as a story teller and observer of life.

Ken has graced our stage before and we know you will not want to miss his return!

The LabyrinthWalk CoffeeHouse is proud to announce that our 2010 Season beneficiary is
The Family Place, Dallas’ largest family violence service provider.

Meredith Dobbs‘ discovery of the Beatles early on changed her life and music. She filled her piano practice hours with renditions of “Lady Madonna” and “Let it Be” instead of Chopin. Once given her first guitar, well….

Now, she’s a high school English and Creative Writing teacher and a musician. Come hear the results of her explorations of creativity!
