We’ll start working on a repertoire for the Selma March 50th Anniversary, sing some, and hear various experiences from the Wednesday march.

Common Ground Street Choir ACTION ALERT!
Practice this Wednesday night has been cancelled so we can participate in the National Month of Resistance march in Downtown Dallas from 7-9 PM.
Mothers Against Police Brutality, DCOC, ACLU, BORD (Bill of Rights Defense), CodePink , Indigenous Liberation Party and other coalition partners will join the National Day of Resistance Against Police Brutality and Mass Incarceration.
The event will start at Founders Plaza 600 Elm Street (the Old Red Court House). We will meet at 7p, leave from Founder’s Plaza at 7:30pm and march to Main Street Garden. Parking is available on Elm Street, just a short block from our meeting point.
Please wear yellow shirts (if you have them) and comfortable walking shoes. We’ll have copies of the song sheets and a Standing on the Side of Love banner. If folks would like to carpool, we can meet at UUCOC and leave from there between 6:30 and 6:40.
