Social Justice Ministry
The UUCOC Social Justice Ministry meets the fourth Sunday of every month from 12:30-1:30 pm in the Hope Chapel. This diverse group of people works together to further the principles of our faith including peace, non-violence, social justice, and respect for our environment. Meetings are open to the public.
UUCOC Choir
All who are interested in singing together are welcome. Rehearsals are held on most Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm in the Hope Chapel. Please ce check the calendar for the schedule for any given month.
2nd Sunday Jazz Jam
Do you love playing Jazz? Do you love singing Jazz? Do you love listening to jazz?
Would you enjoy listening to Jazz in a quiet setting while having a glass of wine or cold beer and letting the sounds take you away to places you enjoy?
Jam starts at 5:00 pm, ends around 7:00 pm and admission is FREE!!!
Players, bring your instruments of choice, voice, and your Real Books (Hal Leonard 6th edition VOL I & II) and join in with the fun. If you want to try something newly written, bring it along as well. All tips will be distributed evenly among the performers.

The third Friday of every other month provides a day for our parents to kick back, enjoy some time to relax, and support each other.

First Tuesday Social Justice Film Festival
Join us on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm to watch socially-relevant films followed by discussion of actions we can take. Visit our Film Festival page to learn more.
Coordinating Council Meetings
The heads of all of the church Ministries and Committees get together on the second Wednesday of the month to coordinate activities and make certain that everyone involved in running the church knows what is going on.
UUCOC Board Meetings
The Board of Trustees meets on the fourth Thursday of the month and our meetings are open to all. The Veggie Store & Sankofa Garden Project
A number of community organizations have teamed up to install community gardens in our area - including one on our campus. Please visit the project page for details and information on how you can help.
A Course In Miracles > A Course in Love*

Shambhala*
For more than 10 years, Dallasites have been offered the opportunity to work with their minds and hearts through meditation. The Shambhala vision is to inspire a compassionate, sustainable and just human society, embracing the inherent goodness of every person. All are welcome to join us on this journey!
Shambhala gathers in the Charity Building for Meditation on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 pm and on Sunday mornings from 11:15 am -12:15 pm. The Sunday morning meditations are open to all our church attendees. Child care is available upon request. Shambhala Dallas also has a location in North Dallas at the Unity Church of Dallas at 6525 Forest Lane, Dallas 75230.

10:15 am to 12:30 pm Open House with meditation instruction, sitting, and dharma discussion: Free meditation instruction at the beginning of the session to those who are new or want a refresher
A "Heart of Recovery" group meets on Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 7:00 pm.
