 oughout November for the play’s 25th anniversary year. On Friday, Nov 14th 
 they will host a special fundraiser for their church. 20% of all tickets bo
 ught in support of Horizon using the code UUC will be donated to the church
 . If 25 people attend in support of Horizon, 20% of all ticket sales for th
 e night regardless of codes will be donated to support our church. \n \n Th
 e Laramie Project follows the aftermath of the murder of Matthew Shepherd, 
 a young gay man, in 1998. The play explores themes of prejudice, hate, and 
 the healing power of community after a tragedy. Since its first production,
  the play has influenced significant legislative changes including the Hate
  Crimes Prevention Act passed in 2009. Its message of tolerance and resilie
 nce continues to inspire countless individuals within the LGBTQ+ community 
 today.\n \n All are invited to have a night out on Friday, Nov 14 in suppor
