Second Chance Players, a local AA non-pr ofit, will be performing The Laramie Project at Horizon UU through out November for the play’s 25th anniversary year. On Friday, Nov 14th they will host a special fundraiser for their church. 20% of all tickets bought in support of Horizon using the code UUC will be donated to the church. If 25 people attend in support of Horizon, 20% of all ticket sales for the ni ght regardless of codes will be donated to support our church. 

The Laramie Project follows the aftermath of the murder of Matthew Shepherd, a young gay man, in 1998. The play explores themes of pre judice, hate, and the healing power of community after a tragedy.
